On Turning the Frown Upside Down

I sat in the car. I turned the volume of the speaker to a level whereby no one who sits in the back passanger seat could ever bear. And I'm sure passerby would've heard the music from outside of the car.

It was drizzling outside. Not heavy, but heavy enough to deter you from stepping out from where you're sitting.

And soon enough, before you know it, you started to wander off.

There are two kinds of people in the world: those who make excuses and those who get results. An excuse person will find any excuse for why a job was not done, and a results person will find any reason why it can be done. Be a creator, not a reactor. You can't have a better tomorrow if you are thinking about yesterday all the time. What lies behind us and what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us.

Cherish your visions; cherish your ideas; cherish the music that stirs in your heart, the beauty that forms in your mind, the loveliness that drapes your purest thoughts, for out of them will grow delightful conditions, all heavenly environment; of these if you but remain true to them, your world will at last be built
.

Eleanor Roosevelt once said, no one can make you feel inferior without your consent.

Therefore, why be bothered about the little things when you know there's always miracles within ourselves? There's only three simple words to life, it goes on.

Cry if you want, my shoulder is always here for you.
Spill if you wish, my ears all ready to hear.
Just ask, and I will give you a hug.
For nothing heals a wounded heart better than standing up yourself.
With or without help.

I stared blankly ahead. Raindrops hitting the windshield and blurring all that were otherwise clear. Before I could control, streams of tears gushed out from the tear pouch at the corner of the eyes, ending the dry spell that has been for the past year.

Emptiness will never exist if you don't allow it. If only I could hold on to the serenity and face everyday with the frown turned upside down. But then again, would you still appreciate and be grateful in life?

Blessed be all my readers. May the love be with you.
