I don't grow up calling myself a Malaysian. I grow up calling myself a Chinese instead. Because we were all brought up that way. Thanks to the political play.
And I'm not a person who would promote racism. I hate and despise and curse whoever did that. For all that we knew, our independence forefathers fought for what we have now putting aside all the racial difference. But why did some of these fools still don't understand they're no more better than the others?
It was consoling to see the new leader wanting to forge closer ties and mend the hurts between different races.
But on the other hand, double-faces never seize to stop but to show how immature they are. Yes they can be the media that spreads the people's thought. But to publish what one extremist said in a national newspaper, disregarding of what other people who are not happy with what they're publishing would react, I thought they should be the one to blame should anything happen.
Peace will never falls before us when such extremest wouldn't stop and be tolerant. And sometimes especially in such a condition, I quote the friend who said, Indonesians are much more civilized than us, even if it means everyone need to change their names to Indonesian.
Do they not know that the people have brains? Losing the game doesn't give you the right to promote something that would cause unease.
Deal with it. Reflect upon ourseves. And stop being so childish.

I am the citizen of the world. Think like me and you will be happier...
yeah then again come to think of it, these ppl who have been preaching on racism or racial issues are the same ppl who preach a lot of other bulls. we call them politicians.
extremists are a shame to not only one part of the community but to all, as we are supposed to stand up united as malaysians. but to me, those who say that double standard citizenship doesn't exist in malaysia, must be either too dumb, or too ignorant.
ppl like ahmad ismail makes things worse, like puring oil in the fire. malaysia should be a country for malaysians regardless of their races, religion, etc. sadly we always have pretentious leaders. until now, i still don't understand the functions of mca and mic.
-hoping for a better malaysia in the future-
Errrrr.... since day 1 i was born there were never have any so call equal rights ...
Just curious, is this Malaysia culture or what? Talk and action always different ... blek!
To me, immaturity and childishness doesn't apply. It's GREED, totally Greed for power and wealth.
Glad to see you being so passionate about your country and race. And you are right, unlike the Indons and Thais, we were brought up to think "chinese" 1st before "malaysian" ^_^
+Ant+
exactly! nincompoop extremists with their primitive mentality.
why segregate races and have political parties to represent each race? why can't they have a party to represent "malaysians"?
oh politic huh? none of my business...LOL ;p
Aiyah, don't need care them lah. When election comes don't vote them can already xD
Ever since like 10 years ago, I've never touched Utusan even once. Lapsap newspaper, some more so few pages. Even Star is better, at least can still see movie schedule -.-
