On a Belated Easter

I don't celebrate Easter Monday. Or Sunday, from what I learnt over here.

But I've always love celebrations of the Christians. Christmas, Good Friday, Easter Sunday... Somehow, it feels nice to be around when they carol. Or sing.

I remembered the last time when he asked me to follow him to his carolling. I mean, well, it was somewhat a meaningful trip, for he reminded me of what I never knew I would like. Or even more, he made me fall head over heels over him.

So when he casually mentioned about the concert last night, I was hesitant whether or not I wanted to go. I was hoping he would like, ask me properly in a more sincere manner, instead of just "You can come to the concert if you're free tonight." In fact, he didn't even tell me beforehand that the choir would be performing. I don't know if he knows, but I've always been showing my support. Or maybe not enough. I really don't know anymore.

So for the whole afternoon, I was throwing myself between going and not going. I feel stupid to actually let myself be in such a situation. I mean, like, what is there to think about right? It's either a yes or a no. And I saw myself on the verge of sending him the text message that I feel sleepy and won't be going, when I suddenly steered the steering wheel towards the direction of the auditorium.

And there I was, sitting alone watching the whole concert. Jaclyn Victor was there. And there's Patrick Leong and Juwita Suwito. But I guess what made me changed my mind last minute was the fact that I longed to see the choir.

It has been so long...

If only he knows I was always there. Oh... The Phil... I love you...
