I've always had a thing for men and women in their working attire. No matter how ugly they may be, the working attire would somehow freshen them up. I mean, okay fine, not everyone would. It's impossible to think that a man who just woke up with his hair as messed up as the chicken den to look good in his long sleeve shirt and tie. But at the very least, one would be presentable if you clean up and dress up in clean clothes. The working clothes I mean. Long sleeve, slack and ties for men and well for women, I guess there would be more variation.
It was the last day of our stay in Maran that we had to present our findings to the district health officers and health inspector, as well as the headmen from each villages. All of us were present dressed all smart and looking good. I couldn't help it but to feel proud of ourselves. Was definitely happy and "high" that day.
Went to the conference room in the district hospital and everyone started to get themselves moving. The presenters was getting ready for their presentations, setting up the projectors and stuff like that.
As presentations for each villages were going on, it was pretty clear that the ones not involved were just doing their own stuff at the back of the conference room. Not exactly polite and proffesional I know. But it was like, we're actually backstage people. Should it be any more formal that how it was supposed to be, we wouldn't be in the room at all. Right?
I walked around most of the time. Trying to get good shots and stuff like that. But I never really dared to went up to the front and take the photos of the presentation taking place.
Until the last when souvenirs were being handed out. Nice plate so I've thought. Too bad none for us. It'll be left collecting dusts in the room anyways.
So all us hot lads and ladies went for our refreshment after the presentations. Normal stuff, fried vermicelli and keropok with tea or coffee. Yada yada...
But I thought it was pretty hawt to see men in ties and ladies in long sleeve working attire watching their movement as they eat standing. Cute... Hehe.
We finally bade goodbye to Maran at 11a.m. that morning. Drove for 3 hours non-stop back to KL. All the plans of dropping by at Batu Caves or hitting Genting were all just bull, when all we wanted back then, was to reach our hostel sweet hostel as fast as possible.
True enough, we were amongst the first to be back.
