From the supper in Sri Petaling on the dawn of Saturday, I couldn't bring myself to wake up any earlier than 11a.m. yesterday. Earlier on, I reached home at 4a.m., but only goes to bed at 5. So the afternoon passed by without much surprises until after LC came online on MSN. "Shall we go shopping again? The mission shall continue..."
Blardy hell?? AGAIN?!?!?!
Turned out he has got some voluntary work with the clubs in the entertainment strip in the city, and would be free before 11.30p.m.. I was itchy. As much as I wanted to stay at home, I needed to do some toiletries and groceries shopping as well. I finished my toilet rolls. And I was yearning for chocolate milk.
I was undecisive. Staying at home and read on Physiology, or to pick LC up and have dinner (so to say). In the end I succumbed to the later. And that was only after 30 minutes of myself asking him "Should I go? Should I go?" repeatedly. Am sure he nearly got bald pulling his hair out answering to my repetitive questions with 'yes, yes, YES...' *sniggering* From the initial suggestion of 7.30p.m., the final agreement was 5.30p.m.. Yeap, 2 hours in advance, merely because I don't want to feel time passed by all too fast. Besides, I wanted to be home early. Mum's going insane if I'm still out in the streets by the time they reveal the results...
Results of the general election, I mean.

I never was interested in politics. Suffice to say. Hence the zero posts about the election before voting day. But somehow, watching the results last night was fun. For one, I was not all nervous and worry about my own, yet I got to feel the adrenaline rush. *LOL*
Best bits were, the one political blogger who contested, will be going to the parliament house, at least for the coming 5 years. BLOGGER = MP. Kenji was saying over the group chat on MSN, perhaps we all should go for politics too! And Bunny joked, vote for the two Jases, yada yada, something about kittens(?). Hilarious. Anyway, it seemed from the results that, a lot of the voters in the urban areas went for the opposition. Despite the ones contesting under the ruling party were good MPs. Perhaps people voted for the party, and not the person. I'd say, it wasn't really all that wise. Pardon me but, I heart some of the good MPs under the flag of the ruling party too. Note, the incumbent candidate of Northern Petaling Jaya and Lembah Pantai. What a waste!
Ah well, truthfully, I had a lot of fun last night. Crapped the shits out with some of them close MSN-ers. *sniggering* So yeah, the previous ruling party would still be in control of the federal government, good for them. Yet of the 13 states in the country, an additional 4 states slipped away from the grip of the undefeated coalition since independance. Amazing? I thought it was pretty shocking. Pity THAT eastern coast state, another 5 years of lagging behind in development, marginally with country's I mean. And we shall see how the opposition coalition rules the 3 states they won. With the Pearl of Orient went back to the Rocket, seriously, I've never thought the ruling party would lost 4 adjacent states on the west coast, just in ONE night.

Let's just hope everything will carry on smoothly for the next 5 years. So yeah, since the ruling party since independance still rules, they need to make sure there won't be any ugly incidents. I'm voting for peace and security, as well as just and transparency. Long live Malaysia.
OMG, I didn't just say that? *sniggering*
Say Hello to the New Malaysia. Swapped: someone's
6 Jujus:
That East Coast State that u mention have been lagging not because of BN.. It is actually much slower when the opposition rules on the 1999 election. :) that is why BN won back on 2004 till now!
it's over .. let's hope for a better Malaysia .. after all people wanted a stronger opposition voice, there we go .. now we have it. So, hope it's for the better.
Cheers
WAH... I so love the jacket we bought last night! Damn worth the price :P Shopping is always good, don't you agree? hahahahha
Everyone in Batu Kawan were cheering when Gerakan lose to DAP. :)
Agreed. Some of the good MPs should have been retained. A pity not everyone thought so.
