That Watery Stools

In conjunction with the big buddy becoming a distinction student, us little buddies decided to go out one more time before he heads back to his hometown up North this Friday. We planned for a movie and dinner last night at Mid Valley, but we didn't know he would bring his pretty girlfriend along. But anyways, that's not the whole point. We jammed all the way to Mid Valley and finally reached the mall. The expected long queue due to a holiday on Thursday was already present, and it was such a bad thing that the Singaporean comedy we wanted to watch was sold out. So we settled with The Death of Ian Stone [the lamest movie ever. Don't EVER go watch!].

Anyway, we had roughly 50 minutes before the movie started, so we headed over to the food court for some dinner. I was complaining of hunger over and over when we were deciding on what to eat. Lisa the 4th year buddy turned all sisterly and asked me to stop moaning. *sniggering* Once we reached the food court, I ordered something instant and get the hungry stomach filled. So I'm expecting the hunger to subside.

Odd enough though, I felt the discomfort persisting. It's not possible that I got gastric problem, I've had odd eating hours for the longest time ever and never once I felt discomfort. No doubt both the parents and elder sis has gastric problem, to which Lisa was saying it's most probably H.pylori infection, but I haven't been home since after the CNY. None in the household ever complaints of stomach discomfort, so unless I contracted the bacteria from the dining out, it's quite unlikely that I've got that bug inside my stomach.

But I didn't bother it that much and we went into the cinema. All throughout the movie, I was churning and twisting and moving in my chair. Not quite sure if the other noticed the restless me, but the stomach pain comes and go. I'd say it's the utmost unpleasant feeling to have inside a cinema. The worst still would of course be sitting inside an exam hall having it. But I made it through to the end of the movie. Everyone else was saying it's a lame movie, seriously, even with me half watching, I thought it was too. And so, that was the last buddy line meeting with the distinction buddy in the line.

I came home to find myself feeling cold. Sure enough it was raining in the evening, but it was pretty unusual of me to feel cold this much, especially when it's the begining of the year. Not long after, I went into the loo and started splish-splashing watery stool all over the toilet bowl. Gross. I came out and called mum. 2 minutes later, I went into the loo again. Another series of gross splish-splashing...

I almost gave in and asked for charcoal, but the cold was unbearable. It's hot enough that I was wearing a long-sleeved shirt, yet I still felt cold with 2 more jackets. I went online and changed the status on MSN into "having the worst diarrhoea ever...". KW came in and noticed the strange notion and gave me paracetamol. Finally I succumbed to bed. Thank God though that YL would not be home for the night, I get to sleep on a big bed, all wrapped up in 2 jackets and 2 blankets. Well, it was only feeling slightly warmer.

I woke up only at 10a.m. this morning and find myself sitting inside the loo twice since I got out of the bed. Oh well, I'm still wearing that jacket even though it's way after noon time. But am not feeling as cold anymore. Stomach's still causing misery, though no more loo-sitting after lunch. Let's just hope the sickness is gone before sunset today... I so do not like this feeling.

Yes I solemnly agree that I want to be sick. I love to be weak and tired and not doing anything and just lie on the bed doing nothing but sleep, but I'd rather be healthy if being sick means I need to have a series of unpleasant diarrhoea.

Hello - diarrhoea with frequent visits and all you took was PCM? And yes, stomach bug or food poisoning does make one really not want to be sick.
