That Smarter Brother

I received a text message from the little brother. Surprising really, he seldom sends me text messages, not our thing.

Brother: Booh yeah!! 11A1 yeah!! Hehe

Hell yea! Hoooo yay! Honestly, I expected that good news. But, I was relatively happy still. He's smart, so it's not a problem for him to strike flying colours. We even expected he'd receive calls from the ministry informing him he's one of the top scorers in the country, since he was ranked the top 20s in the state 2 years ago for the PMR. Perhaps that's a bit too much. *sniggering* Still, who knows, right? So I asked him how come he'd known his result so early, since it's barely 8 and normally the school only release the results at 10. And he replied...

Brother: Oh... don't go hoohah about it first. It's not time for the results to be released yet, Dad asked [principal] about my result. So I get to know first.

Me: I see. Good, good. Congratulations!!! :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) Update me on the overall results later.

Seriously, that was what I typed. Yeap, that many smileys. He must be laughing at how retarded I was. *LMAO* But yay! He scores all A1 in his SPM!

Honestly though, 11A1 wasn't something great to brag about. Look around, how many straight A1 scorers in the country? My cousin said it'd be a shame if we don't do as good nowadays. Okay fine, so maybe I didn't get that much A1s back in my SPM. I missed the A1 for the stupid blardy English for Science and Technology [don't let me go into what a crap this subject was!], and yea, I didn't take as many subjects. But I was being kia-su and I aimed for the JPA scholarships. I so wanted to further my studies overseas then. Plus, if I managed to get what I got, the younger brother should logically be better.

So, I was saying, 11A1s isn't something great to brag about. Mum texted me about 1030 and updated that there are only 4 straigt A1 scorers in our school. So, comparatively, the younger Brother is ranked the best in the school, despite he's only on the 3rd place overall in the whole form academically. How fun how fun! Apparently the girl in the first place, who also took 11 subjects, did not manage to secure A1s for all her subjects by scoring 2 A2s. *laugh laugh*

I know, I'm so mean. The 2 elder twin sisters of that girl, who were my sister's classmate last time, gave me a bad impression. So I don't really like that family altogether. I hate those who offended anyone in the family. And there's that SUPER bitch who used to be my sis's close friend too, but she did something that made me not wanting to have any relationship with her family at all, who knows if she comes to ask for my help next time, I'd just push her away to another doctor. Not ethical, but she's unforgivable. Ah well, that's another story altogether.

So back to the younger brother, we were all hoping that he would be offered the JPA scholarships. At least there's someone in the family who is a JPA scholar. *sniggering* And that he wouldn't be in the same school as myself. *la la la* But then again, if he somehow made his way to be in the same school, I wouldn't mind as well. Then it shall be a legacy of our family! We shall be the family to have the most family member graduating from Uni.Malaya. There's this family that we know, all 3 of the children graduated from Uni. Malaya. If the younger brother did ended up in Uni. Malaya, we'd be better, as Dad was also a UM graduate! *sniggering* But we were hoping he would end up a scholar, any scholar, at least that would save down on the expenses, and I would have more to spend. *grins*

In the meanwhile, while he's off to the stupid blardy pointless time-wasting national service which gets in the way of everything, and I mean EVERYTHING, I shall be hoping the best for him. May he be the lucky ones who would be offered that JPA scholarships. Though I don't really fancy that thing now (they still have the guts to offer me scholarships that comes with 10 years bond when I enter med school, like I still yearn for their money, which by the way, is still Mum and Dad's taxes), but if he did get it, we'd feel the government gave back some consolation, what's with Mum and Dad working as government servants their whole lives. So yea, he DESERVES a scholarships. *grins*

I know. It's just a lame boring show-off post. A bit of rage and anger here and there. But it's still a news to be shared. Hell yeah! My little brother scores 11A1s!!! *sniggering*
