We had our medical round sceduled at 430p.m. on Wednesday. We were not really happy with having to still stay at school till so late, considering our Parasitology lab finished way earlier than we thought it would be at 3p.m.. Not that we don't like the rounds, or well, yea it was too big a group me think, but well, it'd be nearly 6 when we finished the visit. And you know what it's like when the clock struck 6, with the school located nearby the junction into Federal Highway and all, it's gonna take us another half an hour to reach the bed!
But anyway, as we were waiting for the clinician, thing just caught my attention.
And so, this conversation took place between me and KW.
Me: Dr. Nephrologist would be so surprised to find all the waiting fellas wearing white coats.
KW: Huh?
Me: Appears that it's the medical students occupying the chairs and not the patients' family standing there.
KW: Oh... hahaha... Got family mei?
Me: Yeap, behind the pillars behind us... Poor thing they are.
KW: Blog about it then...
Me: Watch me.
*sniggering*

that's almost like erm.. Chronic Chair Deficiency. If i'm not wrong, it'll lead to excessive standing of patient's family, which leads to anxiety which increases work load of their heart (since their standing, got gravity) which leads to hypertension, blablabla, dementia, blablabla and if unseated within 2 hours... DEATH!! omg!!

I also know where! Hehehe!!! This matter has been one of my complaints about clinic and hospitals for being so damn spacious but not enough chairs.
The people in the health industry should be considerate towards patients and their families.
