For The Random I Could Be

We had Antihypertensive drug lecture for Pharmacology today. KK and me, as usual, sat at the first row in the lecture hall, not exactly in the middle, but on the left wing. Prof M has always been one of my favourite lecturer. At least she doesn't get me sleepy and dozing off. Although if my memory didn't serve me wrong, I slept in one of her lecture before. *sniggering*

Well, how Prof M got my attention was pretty obvious. She's got a really special accent. Yeap, she speaks with heavy British accent. She pronounce 'devoid' with super emphasis on the 'void', and she repeats the word 3 times, I suppose as a reminder or some sort. "blah blah blah deVOOOOOID blah blah blah"

"Well, aside from DI-retics, we can ALL-so use the beta adre-NOO-receptor ant-gonists. Speci-fick-ally POH-pranolol. Yes of course atenolol as well, but atenolol is more of CAAR-dio se-LAKE-tive bla bla bla..."

"My mum took atenolol!" I told KK. "beta one... beta one receptor... cardio wat... why isn't her under propranolol?"

"Well... apparently atenolol is also used in hypertension... besides, propanolol got a lot of side effects..."

"bla bla bla bla MY-cardial in-FARK-sion... bla bla bla..."

"see that? Your mum got any of the symptoms?" KK asked.

"What symptoms? Ooo that? Errr... I think insomnia... But not really also ler..."

"bla bla bla Cimi-TEA-dine will inhibits the first pass MAY-tabolism. So so, I I suppose you learnt that before,right? Cimi-TEA-dine? Yes? Right, you better go back and read up then. So anyway, bla bla bla..."

Then all of a sudden...

"I need a hair cut." I said.

"What?"

"I need a hair cut before the CNY."

"Uh... Okay.. Good for you."

I wondered why myself too. Just somehow someONE was telling me this idea of going Trojan. Hmph. Yes yes, I did listen to the lecture. I swear! *LMAO*
