KW invited CH and KK back to his place this weekend. He left today actually. So supposedly, KK and CH will be skipping the classes for tomorrow. But somehow...
Me: Don't go lar... Nothing to see there also...
KK: Ya meh? But we just promised him wor
Me: Yalar, just a kampung baru... plus... me will be so lonely tomorrow night...
CH: You still got IS mar... Plus, isn't ur parents coming over?!
Me: Yea, but they'll only be here on Saturday!
CH: If we stay, can u ask ur dad to buy us dinner?
So it's true. Lil bro just finished his SPM. Dad took leave. So with Mum on school holiday, the 3 of them will be coming over and stay at Sis's place for over 2 weeks till the 23rd. *OMFG! That LONG?!* I'm not complaining actually. Just that, it's like, they're here, and I'll be the chaffeur to drive them around, Mid Valley, One Utama, Ikano, or maybe dinner at Meng Thien and so forth. Every night I would be going out with them, who knows where to. I won't have time to catch up with studies... Okay so I shouldn't even be complaining since for the past two weeks after the first semester examination I haven't been revising lectures as well. But then, I really do planned to start revision for the finals in May 2008. Plus, it gets even freakier when the friends want to meet the family...
YL: Bong... we missed your parents lei..
Me: So?
YL: Since KW's back, there's only me, KK and CH, so Sunday we follow you and ur family outing lar..
Me: What?!
YL: I know your parents miss us too...
Okay, thing is, my guys housemies followed me back to my hometown in May this year. They stayed over for almost 12 days. I brought them sightseeing in the city, and we even went to Mulu and Miri. Not that I don't want to... but what if...
Mum: So you guys been really busy nowadays?
YL: No lar auntie, so relax after the exam... maybe only start after the new year lor...
Mum: Relax? how come my son said he's studying everytime I call?
CH: Isit?! No la, he's busy chatting only...
KK: And his bongblongblog too..
So no, I really cannot imagine what would happen should they meet up. Parents know my housemies actually. Who wouldn't if they've seen and lived with them for almost a week back in May. And now I'm telling lies that I'm studying when I'm actually facing the lappie... Plus, since I'm planning to spend my Christmas in Singapore, Mum definitely will dissect me good to find out what's playing in my mind...
Me: I'll be following KW to S'pore
Mum: He'll leave for S'pore on 21st right? So don't lie to me, who are you with?
Me: Erm... I go my own then... will meet some friends there lar...
Mum: What friends?!
Me: Erm... New friends...
Mum: Who is it? Gimme his contact number. Where does he stay? How old is he? How do you know him? How come you never mentioned about him to me before?
So yea... when family gets too close to your friends, it gets a little bit too freaky. And when the friends gets too close to your family, you feel like you're on the verge of being discovered smoking marijuana. Not that I do.. it's just a metaphore that I haven't been behaving lately... *LMAO*
Darn... What am I gonna do?! Perhaps I shouldn't have asked them to stay back this weekend in the first place, could save some hussle of preventing the two parties meeting... *Bleh*
