Lame Names

KW: "We're thinking of a theme for Pacemaker. So far we've got reemergence of infectious disease."
Me: "Hmmm okay... So what do you want to do exactly?"
KW: "Well... we were thinking if you could help us out, coming up with something more you know, theme-like."

We were discussing what theme should we come up for the Pacemaker magazine this year. The Medical Society (MedSoc) of Uni. Malaya publish a magazine every year, called Pacemaker. Normally, the 2nd year students are put in charge. Well, somehow, I was pulled into the editorial board. *bleh* I'm happy really, that at least there's something that I can look back to when I graduate next time.

Anyway, the chief editor and his gangs came up with, a few themes. Re-emergence of infectious disease is one. Ethics and global warming are the other two I still remember. Last year's theme was "Medicine and Beyond". I honestly think it's really cool. You can browse through the magazine online here. So as the discussion went along, all sorts of stupid stuff came out from my mouth. Really guys, I'm not a God in the Queen's language. I blog because I find it fun, and I don't do it to impress. Though I do find the attention thrilling. *LMAO*

"The Come Back"... Gawd, sounds so much alike with the cum bag. *Stop laughing fags!*
"The return" of the King?
"Emergence"? Eeewww

Or rather, in the end we decided to do something on ethics. More vague, can crap easier, not much facts, and it's really more of an art.

"Medicine and beyond" is seriously cool, catchy, and provoking.

But I couldn't really think of anything cool.
"Healing Hands" was Thy's idea. YA said it sounded so "cheap", ciplak-ing.

Arts of Medicine... Medicinal Arts... Ethical Enhanced... Ethics Enhanced? Bleh...
