All for the Cake...

KW sent me a link 2 days ago. Nope, not KW roomie, KW labmate.

So today, after class at 10a.m., we decided to head over to the branch in SS2 after we settled a magazine matter with the forest thingy inside Uni. Malaya.

By the time we finished our duty, and that KW finally picked up his gurl from the hospital, we drove down to the town. All the way there, we were planning as to how and who we should be sharing the cakes with. Honestly, 2 cakes. Is. A. Lot. I like the cakes from SR, honest. Just that, you can't really take that much as towards the last bit, you're just minutes away from puking. And that's only one portion of a dozen portion that forms the whole cake. So, when we're actually going to get a whole cake, nope, i mean TWO whole cakes, it was a competition as to who can stay non-puking.

We came to term that I'd take one, and he'll take the other. I've sorted out what should I do with mine. Half gone to the family, and half stays in the house. Lil bro sure gonna love it. Mum and Dad won't need to worry about breakfast anymore. And Sis, for all I know, feels as much as how lil bro feels too. KW on the other hand, has some tiny problem with his. He figured his housemates might not really want it, but he hadn't ask as well. In the end, he decided to send his back to his family in Ampang as well. How filial we are!

We finally reached SS2. But there were 2 branches there. We got to the right one in the end, and GAWD, heavy jam. Might not really be the cakes, nope, as traffic at that lane is always slow flowing. Somehow, I was made the scout to check out how long the queue was. We had another coursemate who arrived straight after class and spread the news around that the queue was way too long. True enough, upon reaching the row of shops with SR located in between, human beings are patiently waiting, queuing up all so obediently. It was drizzling softly, and pity those queuing at the end of the row, as they were pushed down onto the street.

We gave up. Should I decide to have the patience and queue, it would be almost 2 before it was even my turn, and for what I know, the cakes might all be sold out already. *Bleh* KW wondered where the other branches are. Stupid us we didn't actually looked where the other participating branches are. But as we were heading out, and driving towards LDP, I recalled there's one in TTDI. Problem is, that place is a huge place, and none of us knew that place. Being adventurous and all for the CAKES, we still drove down anyway.

We did found one of the branches, but it's more of like the cafe type, not participating. In the end we just drove home. Maybe we can try again for their 11th anniversary... which, I'm pretty sure is just NATO. *LMAO*
