WaRD Round!

We were scheduled for the first ward round ever today. Everyone was so excited, yet I felt pretty much the same. If you did notice what I had on my Pacmee box, I did rumbled about my lab coat being unwashed. So I had to borrow KW's which is one size smaller. It was pretty uncomfortable, but hey, I was darn sexy when I buttoned up. Too bad I hadn't got the nerve to cam whore there and then. HAHA...

Anyway, we were scheduled at the geriatrics ward. Old folks were supposed to welcome our merry presence. My labmates decided that we walked to the ward first and waited for our doctor there. As we were waiting, Ben was blabbing all about the basic stuff. Since it's cardiovascular system that we're in right now, you could basically expect all the position as to where we were to listen for the valves or such. Hey, I've practically forgotten everything. DEMIT! I honestly would say the guys were pretty loud then, I had to walk away from them so as not to be labeled as one of the noise makers by the nurses. (KW, if you do read this, don't perasan ye....teeehee). Heck I have to admit they made me nervous in the end. Perhaps they've known that doctors would be shootting basic questions we learnt in our first year, and that has been the reason why everyone's so excited and nervous... Now, if that's really what happened during ward rounds for the pre-clinical students, I'm so going to be shouted at... :P

Unfortunately, it turned out that the doctor who was supposed to brief us didn't show up. What a disappointment... Not exactly a HUGE one, we were rescheduled for Wednesday. So Wednesday it is then...
Anyway, we'll be going for a surgical exposure tomorrow. Nicey!
By the way, in case you might want to know, we were at the 13th floor. Labmate was saying that it's an unlucky number. And that was before we know we would kena pang fei kei... Get the *hint*?
