First day...

I set my alarm at 6.45am, but I only dragged my reluctant butt to the bathroom at 7am. I hadn't prepared my pencilbox, and I had no idea where I put my specs. The price tag was still attached to the bag I bought on Saturday night as the gift from Durban I used last sem was a no compromise anymore. And it ended up I wasn't the last one to be all set with formal wear and tie. And yes, we were the last to start amongst all the public unis medical school.

I figured I might want to start doing a turnover for my blog. Perhaps something I can relate to, and something people can understand more. Ha-Ha.

The start of the 2nd year is going to be tough. yea yea, it's always like that... But I'm going to enjoy as much as I can while I can. The introduction to all the main subjects I'll be taking are plain stars. I thought Parasitology and Pathology are pretty much the same, not to forget this Medical Microbiology. Heck, aren't they all studies on pathogens and some yucky bacteria? Of course, we've got another chinese lady with some really nice slang commenting:" You guys are so noisy." during the introduction to Pharmacology. It's going to be one hell of a year...

And did I say it's going to be one HELL of a year? I've just found out I had to cancel my year end plans to tour Sabah. First 8 weeks of lectures followed by one week break, then another 8 weeks plus one week break, 2 weeks lecture, one week study week and there comes the dreadful finals. 2nd semester starts the following week. GASP! Yup... I hear me right... no Novemeber hols... no December hols... Worst still, after completing 2nd year, there'll be 6 weeks of elective, followed by one week break before we're really in the clinicals... OMG! What happened to the one month break my senior had last month???

Either way, I guess I still can't get over the amazing weekend I had. Something nice, something cuddly, something warm, something fun... and I've got a really nice natural lipstick on my lower lips :-) So, 2nd year...I'll do whatever needed when it's coming real fast. Hey, I survived my 1st. LOL.

By the way, I think I must mentioned what KW commented with " I think you gained some." as I really did gained 6 freaking kilos over the 2 months holidays. So much of myself fretting about not getting any holidays, I guess I should be glad I could start slimming down and not worry too much of gaining everything I lost. Ha-Ha :-P
