On the CNY in Europe

Well, the little brother had his own fantastic way of celebrating Chinese New Year, and I'm super jealous. He finished his exams earlier and in time for CNY, but sadly, while he was still busy preparing for the exams, he thought he couldn't make it, so he bought tickets to follow some of his batchmates for some short trips.

And by short trips, you know what I mean. T.T

He went over to London T.T, go to Manchester T.T, then travel to Liverpool T.T, then go back to London T.T, and finally headed back to Czech Rep. It was just like a few months ago that I heard mum said he went to Rome and Venice. T.T

He's been to all over the places already!!! T.T

But anyways, his travels aside, he was finally back in Prague while I was still at home. There was one day when we had a small lunch gathering at our house, inviting grandpa, our uncle's family as well as one of the lil brother's teacher and his wife.

After lunch, Mum decided to Skype the little brother. And all the guests crowded in front of the desktop.

"Greetings from Prague, yumm yumm yumm, Happy Chinese New Year, yumm yumm yumm, Gong Xi Fa Cai, yumm yumm yumm... "

He just woke up and was having his breakfast, munching away the dried minced meat Sis sent over.

Apparently, since he went over, he had been asking for food. I understand it's a Western western world with very very little Chinese food. And it's awfully stupid to go dine out all the time, so it's best to cook himself. I came across a list he e-mailed to Mum asking for dried foods.

Other that that, Sis sent some Chinese New Year snacks over few weeks ago too, the postage alone cost more than the dried minced meat.

Now that one of his schoolmates are back in town, Mum also asked for that colleagues of his if she could help carry some stuff over to Prague as well. She even measured properly as to how heavy the cakes should be. 500gram.

And the package shall cost 200 bucks if send by postage. WHOA!
